Furnace Repair and Troubleshooting

Armil CFS service technicians provide repair and troubleshooting on both Armil CFS furnaces and a wide variety of competitive furnaces, kilns, ovens, incinerators, and more. Common issues include burner ignition problems, flame-out events, temperature uniformity concerns, slow heat-up, and temperature overshooting.

Preventative Maintenance

High‑temperature equipment requires regular preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation and minimal downtime. Armil CFS performs preventative maintenance on furnaces, kilns, ovens, and other thermal processing equipment. Technicians inspect burners, combustion trains, ignition systems, and flame‑safety components for proper performance. Refractory and insulation conditions are reviewed, and all system safeguards are tested. A detailed service report is provided, and if additional work is needed, a proposal will be supplied.

Furnace Modernization

Armil CFS can update older furnace combustion and control systems to meet modern standards. Upgraded process and temperature controllers help improve efficiency and performance. Older systems that rely on obsolete combustion components or lack modern ignition and flame‑safety technology can be fully modernized with new burners and updated safety components.

Refractory Repair / Refractory Reline

In high‑temperature furnaces, kilns, and similar equipment, refractory materials are wear items that require maintenance. Armil CFS bricklayers and installers are skilled in patching and repairing ceramic fiber, castable, or firebrick linings. When a lining can no longer be patched, a full reline may be required. Armil CFS provides complete reline services using industry‑leading materials, including Fiberfrax ceramic fibers, BNZ insulating firebrick, and castables from Resco and RHI.
