Armil CFS stocks insulating boards in a variety of thicknesses. Insulating boards have a temperature limit of 1900°F and can be used for a variety of high temperature applications (click here for high temp ceramic fiber boards) Insulating boards are commonly used for refractory back-up behind firebrick or cast linings. Some boards can be used for hot face applications in ovens or lower temperature furnaces.
MG 1900 board is a low cost, high strength insulating board manufactured from a mix of bio-soluble fibers and other fillers. MG-1900 comes with a water repellant coating , making it ideal for refractory back up behind cast refractories. MG-1900 is lightweight, and easy to handle and fabricate. This board is available in 1”, 1-1/2, and 2” thickness.
Skamol Suoer Isol board is a very efficient, lightweight, refractory back up board. Super Isol’s high compression strength makes it an effective back up behind cast or brick linings. Supe Isol is commonly used as back up insulation in molten aluminum holding furnaces , troughs, and ladles. Super Isol is also the premium sub-hearth insulation for wood fired pizza ovens! Super Isol is available in 1”, 1-1/2”, and 2” thickness
