Fiberfrax ceramic fiber ropes and braids are durable, high temperature packing materials ideal for use in industrial applications. Fiberfrax ropes and braids can be used at temperatures up to 2300°F. Fiberfrax ceramic fiber yarns are woven into soft pliable twisted rope and denser round braid and square braid, Refrasil rope is a dense braided product made from high purity silica fibers. Refrasil rope can be used at temperatures up to 1800°F.

Refrasil rope is a high density, braided, 96% silica product designed for temperatures up tp 1800°F Refrasil rope is relatively inert and resists most chemical attack. This rope will maintain strength an flexibility to 1800°F. Refrasil rope is an excellent alternative to ceramic fiber ropes. Refrasil Rope is available in diameters from 1/4” - 1”.
