Armil CFS offers both low density insulating firebrick and hard firebrick for use in industrial applications up to 3200ºF.
Insulating firebrick are low density firebrick made from high purity refractory clays and other ceramic raw materials. Our insulating firebrick offer high strength, low heat storage, high purity, and accurate sizing.
Insulating Firebrick are recommended for use as hot face refractory linings, or back up behind other dense refractories. Insulating firebrick are commonly used in furnaces, kilns, boilers, incinerators, and other high temperature process equipment.
Our premium BNZ insulating firebrick offers high strength and a uniform fine structure. This brick is offered in standard ASTM grades .
BNZ 26-60 is a high alumina 2600 degree brick. The higher alumina content in this brick make it an excellent choice for use in ceramic kilns, incineration equipment, and heat treat furnaces with special atmospheres. Please contact us for more information on BNZ 26-60 insulating brick
Coarse insulating firebrick is a lower cost alternative to the above premium brick. Our coarse insulating firebrick is designed for applications in which the lower density and fine structure of premium insulating brick are not required.
Armil CFS offers High Duty, Super Duty, and High Fired fireclay brick for applications requiring a strong, abrasion resistant product. 12” x 24” tiles in 2”, 2-1/2”, and 3” thicknesses are in stock.
