Unifrax Fiberfrax® Ceramic Fiber

Fiberfrax® ceramic fiber products are manufactured from alumina-silica materials and exhibit high temperature resistant stability up to 2600°F. These products are characterized by low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, excellent thermal shock resistance, heat-resistant, and superior corrosion and abrasion resistance.

Low Bio Persistence – Insulfrax & Isofrax

Insulfrax® and Isofrax® bio soluble insulations are alternatives to refractory ceramic fiber products for use in high temperature applications.

Insulating firebrick are low density firebrick made from high purity refractory clays and other ceramic raw materials. These refractory bricks offer high strength, low heat storage characteristics. Armil CFS also offers dense super duty and high duty firebrick products for applications that require strength and abrasion resistance.

Microporous Insulation

We offer a variety of microporous insulations for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. These microporous materials possess excellent thermal conductivities, better than that of still air. Microporous core materials are composed of fumed silica, reinforcing fibers, and special opacifiers.

Marinite Structural Insulation

Our Marinite® boards combine high strength and excellent thermal insulating capabilities. These boards and fabricated shapes are used in a variety of heat processing, fire protection, and electrical resistance applications. We have Marinte I, Marinite P, Marinite A, and CS85 available.

Refrasil High Temperature Cloth and Tape

Fiberfrax® Ceramic Fiber cloth and tapes can be used in applications up to 2300°F. Refrasil® Silica cloth and tapes have a 1800°F use limit, and a 2300°F limit for Refrasil Irish. We also offer a wide range of fiberglass textiles for lower temperature applications.

High Temperature Ropes and Braids

Our high temperature ropes and braids include Fiberfrax ceramic rope (twisted), Fiberfrax ceramic round braid, Fiberfrax ceramic square braid, Refrasil silica braided rope, and silica square braid. We also have utility grade ceramic fiber ropes and braids for lower temperature applications.

Pre Cast Shapes

We manufacture a variety of high quality precast refractory shapes for use in a variety of industries. These shapes are dried and pre-fired and can be put right into service in your high temperature foundry applications.

Fiberfrax® Coatings and Patches

We are a stocking distributor and fabricator of Unifrax Fiberfrax® and Fibermax® ceramic fiber products such as ceramic fiber coatings, modules, patches, cements and more.

Insulating Boards

Ceramic fiber boards are used as backup or hot face insulations. These include chimney linings, industrial furnaces,  kilns, boiler wall insulation, combustion chambers, refractory linings. They also work effectively as a high-temperature gasketing material.

Castables and Plastics

We offer castable and plastic refractory products for temperatures up to and exceeding 3000°F. These include Insulating Castables, Conventional Castables, and Low Cement Castables.
